EDC Las Vegas 2023 has come and gone, but live sets are slowly rolling in with Valentino Khan. Khan took over Kinetic Field on Saturday. He always draws a crowd and really brings energy. He opened with Carl Orff’s ‘Carmina Burana’ followed by his edit of ‘Age of Love’. You’re treated to seven IDs yet to be named or released. From trap to house to techno, it’s a good time. He plays tracks from Kendrick Lamar, Lil Uzi Vert, Franck, Flosstradamus, and more, those moments turn up the heat.
The groove continues with tracks like ‘Sweet Dreams’ from Eurythmics, ‘Edge of Seventeen’ by Wuki, and even his own tracks. Those include ‘Goin Up’, ‘Tidal Wave’, ‘everybodysgonnawannadancewithme’, ‘Anything’ with Alison Wonderland, ‘Your Body’, ‘Lick It’ (Noizu remix) and so much more. He even includes a Netgate edit of Eric Prydz vs. John Summit & Hayla vs. Genesi & MEDUZAÂ –Â Pjanoo vs. Where You Are vs. Everything You Have Done. Â
The mainstage overlooked the crowd, eyes closed. Dancers filled gaps on stage as the audience reciprocated the beats in their own dancing. Fans flapped and bodies moved. The speedway lit up all weekend long for all kinds of music. It rained for a moment on Friday, the winds came through on Saturday and Sunday. But nothing stopped the music. Valentino threw in his remix of Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding’s new track ‘Miracle’. He ends his set with tracks from Lilly Palmer, Eli Brown, Amelie Lens, Farrago, RL Grime. He also played a Good Times Ahead remix of Fred again… & Swedish House Mafia’s track ‘Turn On The Lights Again’.
