Printworks, which has been the venue for some of the best parties in London for the last six years, has dropped the lineup for its closing weekend. April 28 to May 1 , will be the final dance event to be held at this space, as Southwark has approved plans to convert it to offices. Although the loss of the space brings sadness, the lineup will make this a memorable and exciting event, and people will remember the venue fondly. The lineup is HUGE!
On Friday April 28, the event will be a collaboration with BBC Radio 1 Dance. Headlining will be the world-renowned South African DJ Black Coffee, as well as Maya Jane Coles, Danny Howard, AMÉMÉ, Chloé Caillet, Jaden Thompson, SYREETA, Arielle Free, Sarah Story, Jeremiah Asiamah, Selena Faider, and Ceri.
On Saturday, April 29, the weekend continues with a more melodic-themed list of DJs. Headlining the Saturday event will be the Liverpool duo CamelPhat who will be playing their first (and last) set at PrintWorks then. The lineup also includes Stephan Bodzin (Live), Adriatique, Mind Against, NTO (Live), Jimi Jules, Carlita, Cassian, Francesca Lombardo, Ivory, Joyce Muniz, ANII, Nick Castle, ANTARES, and Carina Lawrence.
The third day, Sunday, April 30th, will focus on bass / DnB, MCs, and high voltage electronic dance music at 140+ bpm. Expect to get your heart thumping to Sub Focus & Dimension & MC ID, Kings Of The Rollers & Inja, TQD, Sammy Virji, Koven, p-rallel, Harriet Jaxxon & MC GQ, Kyrist & SP:MC, Lens & MC GQ, Mixtress, IYRE, Trinity, MJ Cole, Elijah & Skilliam, 24 Hour Garage Girls, Jaguar, Bambii, Ell Murphy, and Trieste.
To mark the end of the space as we know it, and sadly the last performance in the iconic venue will be in hands of Peggy Gou, Róisín Murphy (live Pa), Folamour, Dixon, Tsha, Haai, Dj Koze, Sherelle & I. Jordan, Prospa – Dj Set, Mella Dee, Ahadadream, Shy One, Effy, Jennifer Loveless, Suchi, Swoose, Mona Yim – Dj Set, Luxe, 49th & Main, and Trudy Knight.
