Governors Ball will making their grand return to the Big Apple later this June with a stacked lineup of artists including Kendrick Lamar, Lizzo, Diplo, and many others. However, it goes without saying that the food venders at a festival really play a role in overall experience of the event. Governors Ball in New York City announced earlier their incredibly stacked lineup of artists set to take the stage this June but now we also know what we can feast on while we jam out to ODESZA.
Making their way to this year’s Governors Ball will be food vendors including Luke’s Lobster, The Halal Guys, Empire BBQ, Japanese Flair, Van Leewun Ice Cream, Roberta’s Pizza to just name a few. When it comes to food, Gov Ball does not play. Whether you are a meat-lover or prefer vegan options, there is definitely something for everyone. The festival also revealed the lay out of their new venue at Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens New York. In the past few years, the festival home was in the parking lot of Citi Field but this year, Gov Ball will have a new home. The map lay out shows the 3 stages spread out across a large mass of land filled with trees which will definitely be part of the experience. The map also shows the GA+ and VIP ticketholder access areas with VIP being allowed closer to the stage. See below for the full floor plan:
