The two progressive house maestros Franky Wah and Vintage Culture join forces to release ‘Alive’. This is out now on Franky’s label SHÈN Recordings, which was launched last year. The label is an outlet for conceptual music that pushes boundaries of progressive club culture.
‘Alive’ is a transcendent club anthem and a dose of pure euphoria. The track has a pulsating bassline and other-wordly vocals. The shimmering and synths and masterfully crafted drops showcase the combination of talents of the two djs. This track is true to the motto of Franky’s label of pushing boundaries.
This was a true collaboration of two artists with a shared passion for music and desire to create something special. The result is a track that embodies our energy and spirit. I couldn’t be more excited to share it ‘Alive’ with the world.
Vintage Culture says of the project.
I was sent the bare bones of the record on a Thursday night and instantly had to get in the studio. I felt really passionate about the track and ended up nearly finishing it by Friday morning. I played it out for the first time at the Anjunadeep Drumsheds show and it absolutely went off since then it’s been one of my most requested IDs. Vintage Culture and I knew that we wanted to release a record together and this sonically felt like a perfect fit.
Franky Wah’s words reflecting on the recording process
Both Djs just had sets at Ultra 2023 weekend. Franky Wah was at the bayfront park. Vintage Culture took the mainstage with a b2b with Dom Dolla. This electrifying set is live on youtube for all those that missed it.
Summer festivals are lining up and both the boys have residencies in Ibiza. Franky Wah will debut at Club Chino, while Vintage Culture continues his own famed residency at Hï Ibiza.
‘Alive’ finds Vintage Culture and Franky Wah in perfect harmony, resulting in a progressive house gem that’s set to breathe new life into stadium-sized crowds across the globe.
