The Bay Area in California is known for producing some of the most talented and successful artists in the music industry, and Marcus432 is no exception. After teaching himself how to produce and record music, he quickly realized that it was his true passion.
It all began when Marcus432 was a freshman in college at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. He downloaded Logic Pro X and started producing beats, and before long, he was recording and engineering songs for other artists at his school. After moving out of the dorms and into a house, he built a recording studio in his bedroom, which led to an influx of artists coming in and out of his studio to record songs that he would produce and engineer for them.
As he got more proficient at producing and engineering, Marcus432 started creating his own tracks from start to finish. He began by making comedic music while he was getting the hang of everything, and as the years went on, he gradually began taking it more and more seriously. He improved continuously and promised himself that he would never stop making music as long as he continued to see and feel like he was improving as an artist.
Despite facing mental health issues such as anxiety and depression, Marcus432 was able to overcome them by focusing on music, meditation, and self-hypnosis. He found that music was the answer to finding a replacement for basketball, which was the only thing he truly cared about growing up, but was not good enough to play at a professional level.
Currently independent and signed to no record label, Marcus432 is inspired by a wide range of artists including Mac Miller, Logic, Drake, The Kid Laroi, 24kGoldn, Russ, and Wiz Khalifa, among many others. He wants people to take away from his music that they can carve their own path and do anything they want in this world once they take control of their mind. He wants people to feel empowered and inspired to be the best versions of themselves.
With a 3-part EP currently in the midst of a rollout, Marcus432 is definitely an artist to keep an eye on in the future. His journey serves as an inspiration to anyone who has a dream and is willing to work hard to make it a reality. He has proven that with determination, perseverance, and a strong focus on one’s passion, anything is possible.
