Daft Punk just shared a rare, unmasked live clip performing “Rollin & Scratchin” from back in 1997. View the video below.
The French duo first made the clip available as part of a one-time Twitch stream last year, where they also broadcast a complete set that was recorded in 1997 at the Mayan Theater in Los Angeles. The stream commemorated both the 25th anniversary of their seminal debut song, “Homework,” and their separation one year earlier in 2021. Fans can now watch the performance again on Daft Punk’s YouTube channel without the robot masks.
Remastered versions of the “Da Funk” and “Revolution” 909″ videos are the latest in Daft Punk’s post-breakup tradition of delving into their archives to release updated videos and clips. In October 2022, they even joined TikTok.
