Tiësto’s track ‘10:35‘ featuring Canadian singer-songwriter Tate McRae just got a cool house remix by Joel Corry. The London-based DJ/producer added bouncy house grooves to its original dark melodic tone. The collaboration with Tate and Tiësto came about in October on Tate’s TikTok channel. What’s more, the track is about going out and finding someone and not being scared of life.
The beginning astounds you when it first plays. Tate’s voice sings and perfectly enhances the mood of the track. When the drop hits, it’s a game-changing dancefloor hit. That beat is infectious as it comes. No wonder it’s been dubbed the New Year’s Eve VIP Mix. It totally ignites you and engulfs your body in motion.
Corry grew up during the UK garage era at its prime. His musical influences include Todd Edwards, MJ Cole, and DJ EZ. His productions major in bright, bass-heavy house inspired by the 90s and 2000s UK garage and R&B. You can hear him mixing upbeat rhythms with yearning sentiments in this one. He’s got collaborations with David Guetta, a Four for the Floor EP, and numerous singles. From humble beginnings as a personal trainer and gym/leisure wear company owner to summer residencies in Ibiza, Zante, Ayia Napa, and more, Joel is staking his claim.
