DGTL Amsterdam just announced their lineup for 2023, its third iteration. The event takes place from April 7th to 9th at their home grounds of the NDSM Docklands. Headliners include Honey Dijon, Folamour, VTSS, Eris Drew & Octa Octa, Moderat, and The Martinez Brothers. Plus, other artists include various emerging artists and locals like fka.m4a, Sedef Adasi, Ezri Jade, and Olympe. What’s more, expect live sets from Ross From Friends, Sweely, Soichi Terada, Monolink, and Satori.
Across three nights and two days, the event begins with The Blessed Madonna, a Mura Masa debut, Passion Deez, Hot Since 82, Camelphat, Bonobo, and more. DGTL Amsterdam is the world’s “first sustainable circular dance music festival”. That means not overusing resources and a recycling system that works. The event works with the city to implement a “doughnut economy” and a Safe(r) Project aimed at positive changes to the festival’s diversity.
“Representation matters. We’ve worked hard to make sure our line-up reflects the entire spectrum of communities within dance music. It’s a chance to show what genuine commitment to diversity and inclusion can produce, and give a platform to exciting artists from all across the spectrum.”
Ellen Evers, DGTL Festival Director
Lastly, the Docklands are tucked away in Northern Amsterdam, and is huge former shipyard. It houses the NDSM hall, which is 20,000 square meters. The hanger can be separated into smaller places but the hall is used for a multitude of purposes. Popular uses include private parties, concerts, exhibitions, and house and techno events. The grounds also house artist studios and other artistic facilities. It’s a great aesthetic location for NGTL
