After confirming their collaboration earlier this month, The Weeknd and Swedish House Mafia just released the new single, ‘Nothing Is Lost (You Give Me Strength).’ The collaboration is featured on the soundtrack for the just-released Avatar: The Way Of Water, the long-awaited sequel to director James Cameron’s 2009 film.
This marks the fifth collaboration between these two prominent musical acts, and they are no strangers to working together. Swedish House Mafia assisted with production on The Weeknd’s last album, Dawn FM, released earlier this year. They also remixed one of the album’s tracks, ‘Sacrifice.’
Swedish House Mafia and The Weeknd also teamed up back in April to replace Kanye West as the headliner of Coachella.
