Insomniac Events’ is one of the best to ever do It. For proof of this, look no further than their pioneering techno property, Factory 93, and that of their genre-defining house brand, Day Trip. Powerhouse brands in their own right, the two once again join forces to bring forth the second iteration of their highly-anticipated two-day open-air event, Skyline. Previously held in DTLA, the two-day fest now sets its eyes on the highly-coveted Exposition Park.
Directly following Los Angeles’ successful February edition and the unforgettable Orlando Memorial Day weekend takeover earlier this year, Skyline now sets its eyes on February 2023. The two-day festival is set to return on February 25-26, 2023. It will also move away from its previous Skyline DTLA venue. More specifically, Skyline sets its sights on Exposition Park, otherwise known as The landmark Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum — a true staple in the Los Angeles dance music scene in and of itself.
The expansive urban venue will boast unforgettable memories and experiences across two days. This will be soundtracked by the finest international tastemakers in both respective genres. Attendees can look forward to bigger stages, more art installations, and a slew of revered talent slated to perform. In addition to this, we can all expect several exclusive back-to-back performances.
Talent
The last time that Skyline Festival LA was held, artists such as Chris Lake, Claptone, & Green Velvet took the stage. In addition to this, Maya Jane Coles, Noizu, Cloonee, and even Lee Foss made an appearance. If that wasn’t enough, Skyline also happened to be one of the first times that the very special Carl Cox Invites took place on the west coast. In the process, this saw the big man bring friends such as Loco Dice & Marco Corrola along for the ride. He even played headline sets each night. If this is any indication of what to expect from 2023’s lineup, I think we are in good hands.
