The #1 DJ in the world is getting his foot in just about everywhere right now. It was announced that Martin Garrix would collaborate with Marvel on a new video game. He stated he wants to produce music for films so this is a step in the right direction. Martin has shown as much diversity as any EDM artist over the course of his career.
He has always included orchestra elements in his productions, most notably ‘Pizza’. He has an act for making dramatic records, video games and films should be right up his alley. Martin had this to say about the Marvel project:
“I was at Marvel this morning, and I did something for a new video game they’re launching…There’s all these projects in the works at the same time, which I’m very excited about.”
Garrix did not reveal the title of the game he was working on. He recently visited New York to play atop the Empire State Building. DJ Mag helped get him up there for being voted #1 DJ. While there, he stopped by Marvel’s New York City headquarters. We can’t wait to hear more details about which video game and also the music!
