Reset Robot partners up with techno stalwarts Alan Fitzpatrick and Reinier Zonneveld for three might tracks on Filth On Acid. This three-track EP showcases three incredible producers and their production prowess. Together, the trio gives the listeners of the world, Sonic Texture x Desolate.
Firstly, We Are the Brave label head Fitzpatrick opens with ‘Acid Texture‘, a track with banging drums and synths fired out of a machine gun. The percussion is supersized and the lashings of acid will rip up any dance floor. Next, Reinier continues with ‘Desolate‘, built on powerful and dusty breakbeats as edgy synth stabs rise up through the mix. Additionally, the drums get hard, edgy, and marching. You’ll find it’s a powerful track of unsettling techno futurism. Lastly, Fitzpatrick and Reset Robot garnish the final cut, ‘Caterpillar‘. This track is built on a wonky and meandering acid line, with chattery percussion and manic acid, flashes of strobe, and plenty of manic techno intensity.
To conclude, we’ve got explosive openings, fairy beats, uncontrollable synth symphonies, trembles, and techno at its finest. Pay attention to any of their sets and see if they play these. So, listen to the three unique tracks below.
