Jason Ross just announced that his second album – titled Atlas – is set to come out on August 5th. A few weeks ago, he released the first single from his upcoming album, ‘Hate This Kind of Love‘. This week, Ross releases ‘Take You Home‘, a collaboration with Mitis featuring Dia Frampton.
Jason Ross continues to be one of the driving forces in the melodic bass genre. Combining his talents with Mitis, a rising star in the bass world, Ross delivers an emotional and powerful track in ‘Take You Home’. Dia Frampton is featured as the vocalist on the song; it is the third time that the two released a song together. She is also not a stranger to the melodic bass genre in general. As a matter of fact, she worked with Adventure Club for ‘High Like This‘ and Nurko for ‘Faith‘ beforehand.
Jason explained on his Instagram account the thought process behind his upcoming album, Atlas.
While writing this album, I kept coming back to the idea of ‘home’ and what it means to me. Over the past few years, Atlas has become a home base not just for my fans, but for myself too. The community started to build during quarantine and my weekly Atlas livestreams and has grown into such a thriving community. It only felt right to dedicate this album to all of you.
This year is a really big one for Jason. In addition to the album release in August, he recently announced his biggest headlining show to date. On August 26th, he will in fact perform in Los Angeles at the iconic Hollywood Palladium. You can still grab tickets here.
