Coachella just created an NFT marketplace for three different collections that will sell on February 4th. The Coachella Keys Collection is a set of 10 NFTs that will give owners lifetime tickets to the festival and a celebrity chef dinner, front row, and onstage Sahara tent access at the 2022 festival. In addition to lifetime festival passes, holders will receive access to any virtual Coachella-produced experiences forever.
1,000 NFTs priced at $180 will allow buyers to redeem a physical Coachella photo book. 10,000 NFTs of festival photos and soundscapes priced at $60 apiece will also go on sale.
Coachella partnered with the FTX cryptocurrency exchange, and the NFTs will be minted on Solana, a blockchain platform on the lower end of energy consumption. A percentage of the sales will be donated to GiveDirectly, Lideres Campesinas, and Find Food Bank.
