News of a 9th victim from Astroworld has surfaced, where Bharti Shahani died Wednesday. Travis Scott performed on Friday, November 5th, 2021 for a few minutes before the stage compromised. Tragedy struck at NRG Park in Houston, where several people died and numerous others injured. In addition, officials dubbed this a mass casualty incident. What’s more, is a 22-year-old college senior is among the deceased. A criminal investigation is open; no fault assigned yet. Attorney Edwin F. McPherson stated that investigations should start proceeding over finger-pointing. That way, we can identify exactly what transpired and how to prevent this from happening again.

Tiktok user @remi.rich posted a series of videos detailing what he went through and slammed the event for its carelessness. He and his partner proceeded on a call for backup by the stage, where the crowd washed over them. People asked for help along the way, pointing out an unconscious man along their way. By the end of ten minutes, he had found three unconscious people and wanted to attend to them all but he had to follow protocol and attend to them in order. Medics administered one-man CPR to the unconscious, which should’ve alerted an immediate shutdown.
