Audien is returning back to his progressive house roots with his latest track ‘Wish It Was You.‘ Featuring Cate Downey’s glistening vocals, the song will make you feel like the good old days. The feel-good drop will send your feet moving while giving you a big smile.
The track begins with a glossy vocal synth before Cate takes over. Audien gets the drums going pushing energy towards the build. The pace begins to increase and we are hit with the hook “I wish it was you.” We are sent into euphoria once the beat drops. The American producer has a way of getting his listeners lost in the music. Listening closely it is clearly a sad song with a happy beat. It depicts the sadness of trying to find the one you love within someone else.
Released on Armada, Audien continues to push dance music forward. Earlier this Summer he dropped a new ‘Summer 2021 Mix.’ He has also dropped some other singles this year including ‘Learn To Love Again‘ and ‘Blue.’ He had this to say about his new track:
