Armin van Buuren and AVIRA collaborate again on a track that has the necessary elements to give everything to the dancefloor. Its name is ‘Sirius’ and is a tribute to the iconic Alan Parsons Project track of the same name. You can hear it and feel it in the confines of the solar system or even beyond.
The Dutch trance legend Armin van Buuren and the progressive-melodic techno rising star AVIRA have become recurring contributors. Through the release of the Mask EP, a project set up which explores the trending sounds of 2020, they configured a particular style that many fans of both producers appreciate. In 2021, they decide to team up again to present a song that brings special feelings of the good days. Also, the possible return of trance to the mainstream scene in the future.
What can we say about this track? Lately, Armin along with other trance legends have created songs out of this world. First with ‘Magico’, following the line with ‘Divino’, ‘Lost In Space’, and ‘The Greater Light to Guide The Night’ to culminate with ‘Sirius’. This track is on another level than the previous ones.
‘Sirius’ rescues the ambient sounds and atmospheres typical of space and the original track, but at the climax, they give it an interesting plot twist. We went from eighties rock guitars and sounds to a progressive house flair that’s popping in 2021.
Without a doubt, this track will be a fundamental part of the following compilation made to celebrate the 1000 episodes of A State Of Trance: Forever. Where we will have all the aforementioned tracks as well as an interesting collaboration with Paul Oakenfold and Mike Push, just to mention a few examples.
