The world is forced to go another year without Ultra Europe. Organizers have announced the festival’s cancellation for a second time, postponing the event to 2022.
Ultra Europe was initially set to celebrate it’s 8th edition at Park Mladezi in Split, Croatia in July 2020. However, due to the arrival of the global pandemic, organizers pushed the event to July 2021. Just a few weeks before it was set to take place this year, the festival was moved again to July 2022.
Organizers released a statement on the cancellation:
“Although it has been a difficult year for all of us, the world appears to be on the road to recovery, including in Ultra Europe’s host country of Croatia, where we have continuously tried to obtain approval for an Ultra Europe 2021 production.
“Unfortunately, due to ongoing COVID-19 official government safety measures, specifically in relation to mass gatherings, the 8th edition of Ultra Europe has been rescheduled to July 8,9 and 10, 2022.”
The initial lineup included acts such as Afrojack, Armin Van Buuren, David Guetta, DJ Snake, Galantis, Marshmello, and more. No updates have been shared as to whether the lineup will remain the same for the 2022 event.
Fans looking to attend next year’s festival can purchase their passes for the rescheduled dates. Current ticketholders will be contacted via email for more information and “refund conditions.”
