Don’t worry! It’s nothing bad. It’s the complete opposite of bad. Skrillex and Chris Lake, who are longtime friends, looks like they are in the studio working on something for us. Fans noticed a picture on Chris Lake’s Instagram stories that showed Skrillex sitting on the floor in what looks to be a music studio. Despite the obvious username tag, it’s easy to recognize Skrillex’s signature haircut.
This wouldn’t be the first time that two world renowned producers have worked together. Back in 2017, they collaborated on an HOWSLA house music compilation. You’ve definitely heard some tracks from it; it features the iconic ‘Chicken Soup’ which features Habstrakt.
Individually, both producers have been busy on their careers post-pandemic. Just last week, Skrillex put out a new track, ‘Supersonic (My Existence)‘, with various other artists that include Noisia. And, just today, Lake announced that he will be performing with Fisher at the Denver Coliseum Outdoors. The b2b will take place on Saturday, August 14. Tickets go on sale soon!
