Armin van Buuren and Maor Levi have teamed up for a stunning collaboration titled ‘Divino‘. Out now on A State of Trance, both trance luminaries give us a profound melodic trance hit with signature synth notes that take us back.
There is elegance and power from the start, and that echoing vocal riff is heavenly. The melody is angelic and light, while the bass line compliments it to the end. They deliver such a majestic soundscape that while you listen, instant euphoria hits you. Throughout your body, chills tickle your spine and ears. Nothing is better than that synth melody, as it perfectly reminds us what trance is all about. Driving you forward, the beat in this one will make any dancefloor soar.
This collaboration comes to us after Maor Levi’s collaboration ‘In And Out Of Love‘ with Ilan Bluestone. We can always count on the trance stalwarts to give us constant reminders of good music. Fans are already taking to it quite well. Their production is immaculate and yields a banger right from the first ten seconds. Choppy vocals and synths will always grab my attention. We wonder who’s up next for an Armin collab. Someone has got to play this live when live events return.
For anyone that did pay attention, Armin played this as Tune of the Week on ASOT Episode 1013. He’s certainly covering his bases with a multitude of releases this year. From his experimental pieces to his trance roots, he definitely keeps us guessing and entertained. This track also follows up his last collaboration with Giuseppe Ottaviani ‘Magico‘, a classic trance piece with elements of more modern uplifting melodies. With that one, you could tell Giuseppe’s signature beats came through and with ‘Divino’ you can hear where Maor Levi shines as well. It’s great teamwork for both parties. Listen below.
