The Berlin Club Commission has revealed a plan based on six points to reopen the city venues. Also, a pilot event will take place in the city this month.
Following the announcement of the reopening of venues and festivals in Germany until 2022, the Berlin Club Commission presents a plan to safely open venues in the city.
According to Berliner Zeitung, the six-point plan includes a gradual reopening of events and venues with the appropriate measures against COVID-19. This is joined by several pilot events and an information center between clubs on hygiene and recent regulations.
” A small but important step to be able to create a perspective for the entire industry again after one year”.
Pamela Schobeß, club commission chairman
The venues that follow the Berlin reopening plan will require registering the number of attendees in order to control the influx and at the same time estimate the economic recovery of these places. Mobile applications, research work, and information campaigns will also be implemented.
The first event will be on March 20 with a thousand people attending the Berlin Philharmonic. Those attending this event must submit a negative COVID-19 test one day before the event. On the other hand, the commission will offer a concert a week later. Attendees must present a negative COVID-19 test and wear surgical-type masks.
