This is the kind of news we want to see coming, with some hope for next year. Rolling Loud just announced their new return dates for 2021 and it will be on May 7-9. It’s going down at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium.
This happens as a rescheduling from February 12-14, 2021, moving the festival into its original setting. Rolling Loud ensures that 99% of artists will remain on the lineup. This includes headliners such as A$AP Rocky, Travis Scott, and Post Malone.
The Miami brand also announced earlier this year its first European edition in Praia da Rocha beach, Portugal. The event will be taking place two months after the Miami edition, on July 6-10, 2021.
We know a lot of you were excited to rage with us in February, but to help ensure the proper Rolling Loud experience, we have made the decision to move back to our usual dates. All headliners from the original dates are confirmed and 99% of the most lit rappers in the game will be scheduled to perform on the new dates for Rolling Loud Miami 2021 – R.I.P. Pop Smoke & King Von. 🙏
Rolling Loud
How Realistic is it?
Besides coming back to the original festival’s dates, this move has definitely something to do with the COVID crisis. With an impact on future projections in February and May. While being able to maintain the festival in February seems very unlikely due to current restrictions, May still has some hope. The development of new vaccines that could be available starting next year will probably allow festivals to get back on track.
With more than 255,000 fans expected, the largest Hip-Hop festival in the world has a big challenge to be maintained. However, a lot of things can change in 6 months, and hopefully for the best.
We share the same hope as Rolling Loud for all events and especially EDM festivals. While is it definitely uncertain, we can cross fingers for big-scale summer events.
