Pasquale Rotella Announces EDC Orlando 2021 Dates

Electric Daisy Carnival is returning to Tinker Field for three days next November. Insomniac CEO Pasquale Rotella announced the dates—Nov. 12 to 14, 2021—on social media on Sunday night.

“Let’s light it up! I’ll continue to plan things super far in advance for all of you and make sure we ready live our best lives in 2021!” Rotella wrote.

EDC Orlando expanded from two to three days for the first time last year. Rotella said it “couldn’t have been more special.” He called the daytime vibes and sense of community in Florida “like no other.”

Especially exciting is that Rotella revealed the new kineticZEN theme and kineticFIELD stage will debut at EDC Las Vegas and then be brought to Orlando. EDC Las Vegas is currently scheduled for May 21 to 23, 2021.

Tickets for EDC Orlando go on sale on Friday at 12 p.m. ET and start at $10 down.

The announcement came right after Insomniac wrapped up its EDC Orlando virtual Rave-A-Thon on Friday and Saturday nights. The lineup included Afrojack, Cosmic Gate, Elephante, Kaskade, Loud Luxury, Morgan Page and Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, among others.

“So much amazing new music & so many good vibes. BIG Shout out to all the artists who played and lots of love to everyone who joined from home & blew up the chats!” Rotella posted on social media after night one.

Insomniac East

Despite the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, Los Angeles-based Insomniac has recently made substantial inroads in the East Coast market. On Friday, the company announced Insomniac East, “your new home for all Insomniac East Coast events.” The announcement also promised “BIG Festival News SOON” and launched the social media account @InsomniacEast.

The profile includes Forbidden Kingdom Music Festival, slated for June 11 and 12, 2021, in Boca Raton, Florida. In addition, there’s Okeechobee Music and Arts Festival, which happened in March this year right before the lockdown.
