It’s a bit later than usual, but Apple has finally confirmed a date for the iPhone 12 debut. The locked-in date is October 13 at 10 am PT. You’ll definitely want to be on time for the livestream, since the new iPhone is the main focus. If you’ve been following the news, countless leaks have come out regarding the product thus far. It will be interesting to see just how accurate they were.
Just a few weeks ago, Apple held its normal September presentation, showing off several new products like the Apple Watch Series 6. A new iPhone lineup is normally part of this main event, but it was pushed back this year. Apple recently sent out teaser announcements with the line: “Hi, Speed”. It’s rumored that this hints at the iPhone 12’s 5G connectivity. Nonetheless, the iPhone 12 lineup will be packed with exciting features.
All in all, everyone is expecting 4 different iPhone models. Each one is unique in screen size, ranging from 5.4-inches to 6.7-inches. The devices will also look a bit different as well. Similar to the iPad Pro, it’s speculated that the iPhone 12 will have more square-like edges. Yes, that means you’ll have to buy a new case but the edges may be easier to hold in your hand.
Besides the iPhone, we aren’t fully sure what else Apple may throw in as a surprise. We’re hoping to hear more about their rumored over-ear headphones, or possibly a new and improved AirPower charging hub. Until then, take a look here to learn more about some of the iPhone 12 leaks!
