‘Kronos ‘ is the return of Oliver Heldens to his acclaimed side project, HI-LO. This alias demonstrates a darker side to this house legend.
Dutch electronic music icon Oliver Heldens knows how to take advantage of his time in quarantine. He has been dropping amazing bangers one after another and we just can’t get enough of it. At this moment he has activated his HI-LO alias with a Techno track called ‘Kronos’.
We love when DJs have side projects and this is no the exception. Oliver Heldens created this alias in 2015, and he has continually featured works under this along with his leading side on Heldeep Records. He has received a lot of support and love from the public through both projects.
‘Kronos’ as its name implies, is a journey through time, a journey into the darkest sounds of this world. The production is full of dark, brooding basslines, and incredible beats.

This track also shows a clear influence by the Warehouse industrial Techno. It makes something completely different, showing us yet another side to his talents.
‘Kronos’ follows a flurry of previous HI-LO productions in 2020, including ‘Zeus’ and ‘Poseidon’. These received support from Enrico Sangiuliano, UMEK and Wehbba. HI-LO also revealed that he’s currently working on a HI-LO rework of Jones & Stephenson’s ‘The First Rebirth’.
Recently, Beatport recognized Heldens as the #1 selling Dance Artist in both the last year as well as the last 3 months on the platform. His talent and energy have made it possible for him to headline major festivals across the globe, including Coachella, Lollapalooza, EDC, Tomorrowland, and Ultra to name a few.
