Samsung finally revealed more details on the Galaxy Z Fold 2, which will officially be released on September 18. For $2,000, this two-in-one phone and tablet can be yours!
It’s got some pretty amazing features, and it looks super futuristic. Let’s break it down:
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 comes with a rear triple camera with ultra wide, wide-angle, and telephoto lenses. Additionally, the phone has an AMOLED panel made of Samsung Ultra Thin glass screen that emits reduced blue light.
When folded, it’s a 6.2 inch screen, and unfolds into a 7.6 inch main display. To prevent dust from seeping in, Samsung resurrected the Hideaway Hinge. This will hopefully prevent technological malfunctions from dust seeping in, as it was an issue with the original Fold. Moreover, the phone can stand alone anywhere from a 75 to 115 degree angle.
From a more technical standpoint, it has 12GB of RAM, the main screen supports 120Hz refresh rates at 1080p, and it can run up to 2,208 x 1,768. It also has a fast charging 4500mAh dual battery that can be charged wirelessly.
It comes in Mystic Black and Mystic Bronze. The hinge comes in metallic silver, gold, red and blue.
Samsung aimed for a “sleek, unified design,” and it looks like they met that objective. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 is coming out on September 18th, but you can pre-order today. For more information on the Galaxy Z Fold 2, check out the trailer below, or head over to their website.
