MSI, one of the world leaders in gaming hardware, teamed up with Mad Zoo Events and Hospital Records to present a Minecraft festival, HOSPITALITY IN THE VOID. It will be taking place on August 22, and you can attend by purchasing a ticket via the link here. In addition, the page will provide you with all the information necessary to take part in the event. When it comes down to the lineup, you can expect Mat Zo to perform, with others being announced soon. It’ll also be a great opportunity to hear some new music considering he has an album on the horizon, Illusion of Depth.
“I wanted to create a communal experience where people who are passionate about live music can get a taste of a real show. I’ve been playing Minecraft for years and have been wanting to throw this kind of event, but the pandemic was definitely the catalyst.”

More on HOSPITALITY IN THE VOID, it will take place in an underwater Minecraft realm. MSI clearly saw the defining aspects of such a project and decided to hop into the mix. Overall, it’s pleasing to see such collaborations take place. With each success on that front, more ideas are likely to emerge, which is pivotal at a time like this when musical avenues seem more narrow than ever.

Mat Zo & Friends
Notably, this is not Mat Zo’s first time organizing a Minecraft festival. Previously, the Mat Zo & Friends party showcased the potential of where these events can go. At the time, Luttrell, Swardy, Groke, Rohaan, Inverted Silence, and Counsel Pop shared the stage. We look forward to seeing what the collaboration on HOSPITALITY IN THE VOID yields. It’s not every day a company such as MSI decides to collaborate with music labels for a Minecraft festival, so it ought to be a worthwhile experience.
