If you looked back at the world of dance music over the course of last few years, you’d see the upward trend in the popularity of the ‘underground’. In other words, techno. Consequently, at the forefront of this movement, are artists such as REBŪKE, Raito and Layton Giordani. Today, we bring you news from the Giordani camp. In short, a new album is on the way.
Layton Giordani took to his social media account to post a cryptic, thought invoking video. Over the course of the video, the narrator, who I assume is Layton himself, says the following:
“THE EVOLUTION OF MUSIC, IS A SYSTEMATIC CYCLE THAT NEVER ENDS. IT’S A COMPOSITION OF ALL MATTERS EXPERIENCED, AND VISUALIZED. UP UNTIL THIS VERY MOMENT…”
He ends the video, stating “NEW GENERATION IS THE FUTURE, FORMED INTO AN ALBUM, BY MYSELF LAYTON GIORDANI.”
When speaking about the video, Giordani had the following to say about the upcoming project:
“This album is a summary of my life experiences up until this moment. Traveling around the world, living abroad, looking into the future and bringing atmosphere and textures from different places into my music. The evolution of music is a systematic cycle that never ends. It’s a composition of all matters experienced and visualized up until this very moment. From futuristic realms and ambiences, to city soundscapes within our reach; ‘New Generation’ is the future distilled into album form.”
Pretty cool if you ask me. Layton Giordani‘s new album, ‘New Future‘ can be found on Spotify, September 14. In addition to that, it will also be available on Beatport, starting September 21‘st.
