Netflix may have put Ozark on the radar, but EDM parties have kept it there, and not in a good way. Over the past weekend, huge crowds have once again gathered at the Lake of the Ozarks at an EDM concert. Problem is, social distancing measures are nowhere in sight.
Damn apparently the @BorgeousMusic show in Lake Of The Ozarks popped off last night with 0 masks and 0 social distancing 🙄 pic.twitter.com/KddqwgaMNl

Photos and videos that have surfaced show proof of shockingly little social distancing taking place, with few wearing masks, and even fewer keeping a safety distance among others. This comes amidst ongoing Covid-19 concerns, with over 52,000 confirmed cases in Missouri as of today.
Last weekend’s EDM concert has not been the first party catching authorities’ attention at the Lake of the Ozarks. Earlier in May, a Memorial Day pool party had also taken place, followed by another for Independence Day.
The number of confirmed cases across the United States continues to creep up, while other countries around the globe are fighting against what could be a second wave. As long as this continues, we’re going to have to wait even longer before our next real music festival.
