World-renowned music festival Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) Las Vegas is rescheduled for 2021. Many headliners hoped that they would unite once again under the electric sky in October. However, Insomniac has made the official decision to cancel this year’s 25th-anniversary celebration.
Insomniac founder Pasquale Rotella shared the heartbreaking news on his social media. He states that there were plans to keep EDC Las Vegas attendees safe with a two-step testing process and other safety precautions. Due to a lack of time, it was not possible to obtain the equipment by October. Rotella assured fans that all options were exhausted before coming to this decision. Unfortunately, this is the only option that is best for the safety and health of all future attendees.
The EDC Las Vegas 25th-anniversary event will now be taking place on May 21 – 23 2021. Those who have chosen to keep their passes for the 2020 event will now have them honored for next year. This includes Camp EDC and Shuttle passes. However, those unable to attend the new dates be eligible for a refund.
Those who want to attend the new festival dates and purchase a pass will be able to do so on August 6 at 10 AM PT. Insomniac will be putting available tickets on sale.
Although EDC Las Vegas will be canceled this year, Insomniac is sure to give fans an even bigger and better experience in 2021. The popular music festival is known to have memorable surprises in store and this will not be an exception.
