Chico Rose and Afrojack have a new track titled ‘Speechless‘, featuring Azteck. Now, we get major Meduza vibes with this one, but let’s appreciate the variety of sound.
The bass line opens up the track and is so enticing. Combine that with the upbeat tempo and you get a catchy house track. That low pitched voice is soothing to the soul and ears. Heartfelt lyrics make this a track that touches us as well. Add this one to your summer playlist as well. Quite simply, this is also an earworm record.
Chico de Reus, aka Chico Rose, is from the Netherlands. He started producing music in 2010 after quitting school and slaying on his DJ set that his father gave him. He’s spent years of hard work making new music and turning his passion into a worthwhile career. He has two track releases on Nicky Romero’s imprint, Protocol Recordings, and garners support from Afrojack. We can see why they teamed up for this track.
A good mentor goes a long way in the industry, as they’ve worked together on numerous great hits like ‘The Great Escape’ and ‘Cloud 9’. Chico has played stages at Ultra Music Festival Miami, Tomorrowland, EDC Las Vegas, and Untold Festival in Romania.
We can see that Afrojack is wasting no time during this quarantine. When he’s not busy designing new cars or merch, he’s continuously growing his brand and sound. It’s a different change of pace from his original sound, but we’re happy to see this.
