It’s that time of the year again when voting for the DJ Mag annual Top 100 DJs poll is open. Besides that, they also announced weekly festivals for the summer.
Although it has been a different year, it did not make the music entirely stop. While the main festivals were canceled alongside a huge amount of tour dates, music made its way to us through live streams and original sessions.
DJ Mag makes its return with the ranking poll, in tandem with weekly festivals mainly sponsored by UNICEF and Beatport. Once again, the controversial ranking will raise money in aid of UNICEF, marking the fourth year which they partner up. However, the emphasis this time is placed on the organization’s emergency coronavirus response fund. In addition, DJ Mag announced a 12-month partnership with the DJ software, Virtual DJ.
DJ Mag Weekly Online Festivals
New features do not stop here, as the magazine also proposed to liven up our summers with online weekend festivals. DJ Mag will offer virtual festivals every week, starting this weekend. Moreover, the list of artists confirmed so far looks very promising, including massive acts like Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, David Guetta, Oliver Heldens, and Don Diablo. On the other hand, Sunday will be a good day to enjoy names within the deeper musical spectrum. Artists include DJ Pierre, Carl Cox, Nicole Moudaber, Monika Kruse Fatima Haji, UK new school favorites Solardo, CamelPhat, and many more.
Voting for the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs is now available via this link. You can do so up until the 23rd of September, but make sure to support your favorite artists before the deadline arrives.
