Tiësto dropped a Eurovision song contest remix with Will Ferrell from his Netflix exclusive movie. Something unexpected for us but at the same time something awesome.
On the day that the 65th Eurovision Song Contest should have been held in Rotterdam. It was not done for the reasons we all know: the pandemic. Moreover, Netflix announces the release of a parody film based on the European Music Festival entitled ‘Eurovision Song Contest, The Story of Fire Saga‘.
The film follows two small-town singers as they chase their pop star dreams at a global music competition. They have to face various challenges, both from the contest as well as from their own country, whose inhabitants don’t accept the strange idea to combine their traditions with pop music.
16 songs will make up the soundtrack for this feature film, with Tiësto, Salvador Sobral, or Demi Lovato. It is not the first time that Tiësto works in a movie soundtrack. Already in 2018, the Dutch DJ contributed to Genndy Tartakovsky’s ‘Hotel Transylvania 3’. Also, several electronic music artists have made history in this contest. For example, Darude last year represented his home country Finland.
Tiësto is an excellent option to brings us the 90’s movie feeling but at the same time is unexpected.
