Electric Blockaloo has released the second and last phase of its huge lineup. A massive poster shows us the size of this festival with more than 850 artists and 65 hosted stages. But there’s a twist – the event only takes place in Minecraft.
Although other games such as Fortnite with its varied performances already experienced musical experiences, Electric Blockaloo will hold the biggest digital music festival in history, on Minecraft.
This massive 4-day online event will take place from June 25th to 28th, 2020. The growing virtual festival landscape with Tomorrowland, Digital Mirage, and Defqon 1 events encourgaed Electric Blockaloo to go a step further – and bigger, clearly. The colossal international lineup curated by Rave Family differentiate this festival as one of the largest to date.
The Lineup
The second phase of the lineup brings world-class artists like Steve Aoki, presenting his DIM MAK’s Dojo, KSHMR‘s Dharma Temple, and Felix da Housecat. BBC Radio1 host Sherelle and Detroit names such as Carl Craig, Kevin Saunderson, or Seth Troxler will also visit Minecraft’s paradise.
House music fans will also enjoy the event with amazing artists such as Todd Terry, DJ Sneak, Higher Ground headliner MK, Maya Jane Coles, or Luciano. And obviously, in this massive lineup, there is also a lot of room for top EDM DJs. Some of them are Galantis, Two Friends, Louis the Child, or even Paris Hilton.
These names are just the icing on a cake that already looked delicious. Huge artists were already sitting in a lineup that now is finally completed. Don’t miss performances by Jauz, Jamie Jones, Maceo Plex, A-Trak, Nicole Moudaber, ZHU, Nora en Pure, Claude VonStroke, Claptone, Soul Clap, Lane 8 and over eight hundred more.
To ensure that rights holders are paid for the use of their music in the festival, Electric Blockaloo has partnered with streaming platform Mixcloud. These will avoid any copyright issues or possible conflicts.
One of the biggest challenges for digital festivals is making sure that artists are compensated for the use of their music. We knew that in order to create a sustainable digital music event platform, we had to take care of that. With their advanced content ID system and unique music licenses, Mixcloud has been a great partner and we are excited to be leading the movement to pay artists fairly

Festival attendees, or “Loozers”, will have the ability to explore the festival grounds jumping from stage to stage. Moreover, they will be using replicas of the famed blue Doctor Who Tardis to travel.
Electric Blockaloo Festival ‘Grounds’
Over 65 stages have been carefully curated and envisioned directly by the artists and labels themselves. From Red Blocks, a take on the famed Colorado amphitheater, to Thunder Mifflin, the coolest office in Scranton, PA, there will be plenty of familiar locations for Loozers to explore. Artists have had full creative control of their stage designs.
In order to simulate a real festival atmosphere and the human interaction, Electric Blockaloo attendees will also meet via Discord. On the festival server Loozers will be able to communicate and meet up with friends and new avatars they meet in the game.
To attend Electric Blockaloo, festivalgoers must have Minecraft on Java or Bedrock versions, so fans can play on desktop or mobile. For the users looking forward to learning the basics of Minecraft before the event, the Rave Family Training Camp will be available in the run-up to the festival.
Electric Blockaloo has also prepared a building contest to let Loozers build the festival campsite of their dreams. Campers can then share their creations on Instagram and win a number of awesome prizes. These prizes will include merchandise, upgrades, and a private, super-secret DJ set from one of Electric Blockaloo’s headliners!
