We’ve seen more festivals postponed or canceled this year than we’d like to remember. Sadly ‘Hang From Home‘ is one of the first digital streams to follow a similar fate. There’s no clear indication of why the event was cancelled, but mentions of the digital stream have been removed from the Facebook Page entirely. A representative has also confirmed the cancellation. Honestly, we’re not sure what to do with more cancellation news.
The original Hangout Music Festival 2020 had a diverse line-up for the Gulf Shores of Alabama. Similarly the digital version had live sets to be aired from artists that any music lover would recognize, including Billie Eilish, Dave Matthews Band, The Flaming Lips, The Killers, The Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Panic! At The Disco, to name a few.
But don’t worry, all isn’t lost. If there’s a name we can always count on to uphold the festival spirit during COVID or otherwise, it’s Insomniac Events. This weekend we would otherwise be mourning Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas (EDCLV) 2020, which is currently postponed until early October 2020. Luckily we can still party from the comfort of our couches with Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) Las Vegas’ Rave-A-Thon.
