The EDC Las Vegas Rave-A-Thon lineup has officially been released, and it’s even better than we would have ever imagined. This year’s festival would have taken place this weekend but due to coronavirus, it was postponed to October 2nd – 4th. However, to make up for it, Insomniac will be hosting a virtual event in its place. It may not feel exactly the same as being there in person, but it is definitely a close second.
The lineup features several talented music artists, many of who were initially in the EDC Las Vegas lineup. There will be many big-name music producers taking part in the livestream, such as Afrojack, Benny Benassi, David Guetta, and Kaskade. In addition, there will also be plenty of adored dubstep and bass artists such as Seven Lions, Zeds Dead, Subtronics, Borgore, and FLOSSTRADAMUS. Not only this, but there will also be a special NGHTMRE B2B Ghastly set.
Insomniac has partnered with In Place of War, an organization that seeks to help artists and creators affected by the coronavirus, to promote Rave Recovery. This is a relief fund that was created to help dance music fans impacted by the pandemic. Proceeds from the EDC Las Vegas Rave-A-Thon will also support In Place of War’s COVID-19 Emergency Fund. The fund will help to support some of the world’s most vulnerable communities in the south during the pandemic. If you would like to donate before the live stream airs, Insomniac is already taking donations.
The EDC Las Vegas Rave-A-Thon will take place this weekend on May 15th – 17th. It is scheduled to occur from 5 PM – 2 AM PST each day. You can view the livestream on Insomniac’s Twitch or Youtube.
