Steve Aoki Announces New Music Coming Through Alter Ego

Steve Aoki, one of EDM’s most prolific DJs announced new music is on the way, only that this time, it won’t be under the name Steve Aoki. That’s right. EDM’s most dynamic DJ will be working under a new alias, and we can’t wait to listen to this new exciting project! The announcement was made just a couple days after dropping his newest album Neon Future IV.

In a recent interview, Aoki declared: I’ve been creating a new alter ego, a new artist name, and I am making a whole different sound. I’m so excited to share that with the world when it’s time.

Steve Aoki. An Unstoppable Force

Steve Aoki was the DJ that turned me into EDM. Along with David Guetta, they both allowed me to enter the world that has completely guided my life. Aoki, however, holds a special place in my heart as the first DJ I ever saw live. I might not connect with his newest music as I did with his earlier work, but there’s one thing no one in the industry can deny about Steve. He has an amazing work ethic. The man works non stop. Album after album. Track after track. Concert after Concert. Running his own label Dim Mak. Aoki is an unstoppable force. His presence as an artist has traveled to places no DJ has before. His desire to be known throughout the globe drove him to become one of the most famous artists to ever step in front of a mixer.

Now, after all this time following him, closely or from a distance, I can say I’m excited about this new chapter. Aoki has always been a pioneer inside EDM. Collaboration, genre fusions, shows. He’s got it all. Whether you like him or not, you should definitely wait for this new alter ego before giving an opinion. This is a man who has given his whole life to EDM to make it the huge industry we all love and are a part of today. So, if you’re ready for this new Steve Aoki Alter Ego, put your hands up!
