Raito is out with a new EP titled ‘Moon Dance‘. It contains three eargasmic techno tracks in the French producer’s amazing sound and style. This follows his successful release of ‘Summer of Love‘ last year. We see its release on mau5trap.
‘Moon Tear‘ exhibits an old school rave vibe, lathered in techno rhythm. It releases high pitched synths reminiscent of The Matrix. With its relentless heartbeat of a bassline, the tempo is driving and brooding. Furthermore, the eerie melody casts a spell over your mind, body, and soul as you dance.
‘Soul Arrow‘ is techno at its finest. Secondly, it is smooth in tempo and bass. The wobble sounding synths in the background feel like a video game you are journeying through. Through this maze, only you can find your way out.
‘Dark Orb‘ hits heaviest of the trio. Right off the bat, the drumbeat is heavy and it is syncopated with hi-hats. Once the synths mix in, it’s a new wave of breakbeat, French electro, and techno here. It is an interstellar mix of sounds, mood, and gives off tech-trance vibes.
Three different songs with the same exact length, yet completely in tune with each other for this EP. Raito is a versatile producer, this much we know. His influences of French electro, various techno, breakbeat and old school rave music shine through. Not to mention, he adds his trademark ‘Raito sound’. He has releases on labels like Suara, Intec, Kneaded Pains, We Are The Brave and Boys Noize Records.
Some of the biggest names in the industry support him. That includes Amelie Lens, Richie Hawtin, Charlotte de Witte, Carl Cox, and Adam Beyer. With a lineup like this, he is surely making a remarkable name for himself. He’s touched upon events like EDC Las Vegas 2019, but is topping venues across France, the UK, Istanbul, and the Netherlands.
