Disciples are back with a double-single release, ‘Only The Gods‘ with Lee Foss and ‘Better On My Own‘. Both tracks feature Anabel Englund and are out via Pete Tong‘s FFRR imprint, marking their first release since summer.

Kicking off, ‘Only The Gods’ with Lee Foss emphasizes the deep chunky bass-line as the vocals soar. As it builds, the chorus is highlighted by sustaining the bass groove, but having a spacious silky synth arp in the back. What that accomplishes is adding more body to the overall sound. On the other end, ‘Better On My Own’ takes a sultry approach on the vocals while showcasing catchy harmonies. Moreover, it stands out with a consistently groovy approach.
In tandem with the release, Disciples commented on their enthusiasm to work with Lee Foss and Anabel Englund.
“We’ve been a fan of both Lee Foss and Anabel Englund since Hot Natured days so to get to collab with them on this project was a dream. Lee has some great ideas to bring the production to life and Anabel’s voice has this way of transporting you to another dimension.”
