We may be deprived of physical social contact, good food, and simply the ability to enjoy the gorgeous spring weather, but one thing that’s in abundance is the amazing livestreams we’ve been getting from DJs. Latest to announce a livestream is David Guetta, who will be “fundraising live from Miami” this Saturday, April 18. The event, titled United At Home, is scheduled to start at 6pm EDT (3pm PDT).
Created in conjunction with the Miami Downtown Development Authority, United At Home will be set against a beautiful backdrop featuring the city itself. Funds received from the livestream will also be used to support Feeding South Florida, the leading domestic hunger-relief organisation serving the area.
Fundraising efforts have been the ultimate proof of how music unites, and consequently brings out the best in humanity. Just two weekends ago, Beatport’s 34-hour livestream marathon had raised over $180,000. The massive success had also warranted its second edition, ReConnect II. The 36-hour livestream marathon will start this Friday, April 17.
