It’s not hard to tell when an artist really pours his or her heart and soul into performing a live set, and Carl Cox is proof of that. Having closed the City Steps Stage at CRSSD Festival 2020 last Sunday, the legend once again reminds fans – both attendees and those watching the event livestream – just how talented he really is. Feeling like you’ve missed out? No worries, as his full set is now available on SoundCloud and YouTube.
The two-hour set showcased 30 tracks, featuring a good mixture of ID’s and techno beats. Tracks included Matador’s ‘Desire’, UMEK’s ‘Cybernetic Implant’, and Fatboy Slim & Eats Everything’s ‘All The Ladies’. The festival also brought in other house & techno stars such as Charlotte de Witte, Rüfüs du Sol, and Ben Böhmer, among many others.
Looking ahead, Carl Cox has announced his headline show at the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center on May 14 alongside Maceo Plex and Doc Martin. Beyond that, he’s also set to play at the 50th anniversary of Glastonbury Festival, so it’s certainly shaping up to be quite a year for Carl.
