We expect that 50% of all our international visitors cannot attend the show, which means that we would not be able to give the full DLDK experience as the venue will look empty
Don’t Let Daddy Know – Official Statement
DLDK justified this last minute change by the fact that with a low number of attendees, the venue and stages will look too empty. However, the festival did not offer any full or partial refund after this big change, although many fans are requesting it now that they will not be having the experience they paid for.
As you might expect, many of the fans are left very unhappy with this cancellation and the no-refund policy. Additionally, a big number is protesting the decision on social media calling it a fraud, and launched a petition to get refunds.
