Festicket Festival Heroes: The Results

Lost Frequencies, who collaborated with Tomorrowland in this amazing documentary, made it to the top of Festival Heroes list for 2019. The Belgium talent visited 49 festivals worldwide, traveling to 21 countries across three continents. That makes an average of a festival every 7.5 days, impressive!

British indie quartet The 1975 played a total of 44 festivals across 30 different countries. Some of their visits include sets at Reading & Leeds (UK), Mad Cool (Spain), and Japan’s Summer Sonic.

Techno queen Charlotte de Witte also figures in the Top 3 Festival Heroes chart. The founder of the label, KNTXT, has raised the attention of many festival promoters. Thanks to her talent and quality behind the decks, she quickly became one of the scene’s most in-demand artists. The Belgian attended an impressive amount of 39 festivals in 2019. Amongst them, we must highlight her visits to Tomorrowland’s main stage, Ultra Miami, and Awakenings.

Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike (30), Amelie Lens (28), and Martin Garrix (26) also performed in +25 festivals last year. There are no doubts that the DJs on this Festicket Festival Heroes report are not only great artists but also wonderful professionals.

As more and more people invest in going to music festivals, we’ve seen them become an even greater source of income for artists. Festivals provide artists with a valuable platform to showcase themselves to potential fans who may then go on to buy a record or see them at their own headline shows. It’s therefore little wonder the artists in this report went above and beyond to hit up every festival stage they could in 2019.
