Jax Jones and Martin Solveig’s awesome collaborative project ‘Europa’ returns with funky brand-new house track ‘Tequila‘, featuring singer RAYE. It’s been a long wait for the second installment from ‘Europa’, with the UK and French duo bringing us ‘All Day and Night‘ in March 2019.
‘Tequila’ showcases everything you’d expect from a collaboration between the two producers renowned for having care-free fun with music. They present a funky house track with retro vibes, and a typically catchy input from vocalist RAYE.
The track was teased hilariously throughout the week, with a number of short videos posted on Jax Jones’ Twitter.
This is the second time Jax Jones has worked with vocalist RAYE, who was featured in his smash hit ‘You Don’t Know Me’, released way back in December 2016. The track peaked at #1 in the UK Dance Charts and #13 on the US Billboards Hot Dance.
In 2019, Jax Jones and Martin Solveig joined forces for a handful of ‘Europa’ performances, including a huge leg at Tomorrowland. This release could spell the pairs intentions for a revival this summer.
Jax Jones is currently preparing for his biggest tour yet of his home country the UK, sharing the name ‘Snacks’ with his first studio album released last July.
