Following his 14UP EP, No Mana announced the release date for his debut album, Secret Level. The album is scheduled for release February 14 via deadmau5‘ imprint, mau5trap. We already got a taste of what to expect in the album through ‘Strangers‘ featuring Jantine. Additionally, the artist released a music video for the track that takes inspiration from the Japanese animated film, Your Name.
Speaking about ‘Strangers’, No Mana gave insight into how the track came to be:
“Most of my favorite chord progressions I’ve written usually happen in the days after attending some crazy festival. Going to EDC Las Vegas last year, and making ‘Strangers’, was one of those cases. I sent it to Jantine where she came up with these lyrics that make me think about that movie ‘Your Name’ – so that’s where the visuals are traced from.”
Finally, No Mana is readying up for his first headline tour in support of his upcoming debut album. Supporting him throughout the tour are Bentley Dean, Speaker Honey, Sian, and Sysdemes. To find his tour stops and purchase tickets, you can refer to the website here.
