The wildfires have devastated Australia along with its wildlife. Heroic firefighters have risked their lives in order to attempt to put out these fires. Over 17.9 million acres of land have been burned, half a billion of animals impacted, and 28 people have died as a result. Make It Rain is the result of the founders taking action, despite being an ocean away.
The Aussie musicians residing in Los Angeles have come together in an attempt to help. Make It Rain is taking over Academy LA on January 29th to throw a benefit concert to raise funds. 100% of profits will be donated to Australian Bushfire Relief charities, and there are no booking fees for the artists.
The Make It Rain lineup features What So Not, VASSY, tyDi, Stafford Brothers, PNAU, Nina Las Vegas, Hook N Sling, GG Magree, Feenixpawl, Brooke Evers, Yolanda Be Cool, and Cut Snake. There will also be plenty of surprise guests. Early bird tickets are on sale and available now. For those who can’t make it, you can tune into a live broadcast via SiriusXM’s Diplo’s Revolution on Channel 52. Additionally, you can donate to any Australian charities to directly help them in their efforts.
