The headliners for Coachella 2020 have finally been announced! Travis Scott, Frank Ocean, and Rage Against the Machine will take over both weekends of the Californian festival. The music festival will take place on the weekends of April 10th and April 19th.
Travis Scott last performed at Coachella in 2017. This coming after his massive release of Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight album. This upcoming Coachella we can expect a lot of new songs as well as a nice amount from his most recent album ASTROWORLD.
Frank Ocean is making a long-awaited return to Indio, California. He last performed in 2012 after the release of his channel ORANGE album. Frank has released a fair amount of singles over the last few years and should treat the Indie crowd nicely.
Rage Against the Machine will reunite following a nine-year hiatus. It will be quite the return for the rock band. The band is made up of Zack de la Rocha, Tom Morello, Tim Commerford, and Brad Wilk. Their reunion is quite fitting as the band headlined the first-ever Coachella in 1999.
Compared to years past I would say these headliners are not all too big. Travis Scott is clearly the most popular out of the three. Ariana Grande, Childish Gambino, and Tame Impala headlined the 2019 lineup. The festival has had headliners in the past including Eminem, The Weeknd, Calvin Harris, and Beyonce. Stayed tuned for the rest of the lineup drop!
