The Canadian producer confirmed that his debut album, A World Away, will be dropping next year! Although this revelation would be enough to satisfy his army of followers greatest desires, the 28-year-old also teased another thrilling surprise…a brand new side project in 2020!
Unfortunately, Nathan Shaw, better known by his stage name Ekali, has been quiet about what fans can expect in 2020. Despite keeping his followers relatively in the dark, there are a few things we know for certain. Firstly, the first track on the album is titled ‘Fairytale‘ and features Elohim. Secondly, the single has been hyped by Ekali as his “favorite song he’s ever made.” Lastly, when a Twitter follower inquired about what genre the side project will be, Ekali responded it would be a house feel, but “with a different twist.”
