Avicii – Fades Away (feat. MishCatt) [Tribute Concert Version]
Its been over a year and a half since we lost the late Tim Bergling, AKA, Avicii, and yet it still feels like yesterday. While it still hurts, a one thing that has helped to alleviate this pain is the release of his posthumous album, Tim. In addition to this, his recent tribute concert, held in his home of Stockholm, Sweden also helps. Today, we bring you news courtesy of this concert, in the form of a ‘Tribute Concert Version‘ of his track ‘Fades Away‘.
While ‘Fades Away’ normally features the vocals of long time Avicii collaborator, Noonie Bao, the concert version instead features the vocals of Costa Rica’s own MishCatt. For those of you who did not tune in to the concert via livestream, this means that MishCatt also performed live in lieu of Noonie. While it is unknown why exactly this is, MishCatt smashed it, nonetheless.
While the concert has already passed, you can read all about it here. All profits from the concert will go directly to the Tim Bergling foundation and other organizations dedicated to aiding the cause of mental health and suicide support for young people.
At the moment, this is the only Tribute Concert Version of any of Avicii’s tracks released. Only time will tell if we’ll get an official recording of the concert, or more concert version tracks.
