Successful DJ and producer Martin Garrix always seems to put out songs that make their way to the top of the rankings. He also constantly travels around the world to venues, clubs and festivals. However, the world-famous lifestyle apparently put a strain on his long-term relationship, proving the life of a DJ is not perfect. The Dutch talent announced on his social networks that he split up with his long term girlfriend, Charelle.
The producer of ‘High On Life‘ could not continue with this relationship, as their hectic schedules did not allow them adequate time together. According to Martin Garrix’s post on Instagram, they ended their relationship in a healthy and friendly way, noting that he and Charelle decided to continue their lives with separate paths. The couple traveled together on many trips and festivals during an intense and loving relationship of three years.
2019 has not been Martin Garrix’s best year regarding his personal life. We must remember the injury he suffered and that kept him away from the stage for a while. STMPD boss also moved down to the second position in 2019 DJ Mag Ranking. However, the Dutch talent has openly stated that he does not care about DJMag’s Ranking very much. Besides, he won the award for the Best Electronic at the MTV Europe Music Awards.
Martin Garrix is ending another huge year on the touring front and from putting out massive releases, like his collaboration with Dean Lewis called ‘Used To Love’
Martin ended his personal relationship in an elegant manner – with love and respect. And there is truly not a better way to do it. We respect Martin, and wish both he and Charelle the best of luck.
